INNER LIGHT HEALING

40 years ago, Karen was diagnosed with cancer.  She was only 22 years old at the time.  Karen did not like the sound of chemotherapy or radiation.  She looked up and said out loud, "If you exist I need visual proof.  I don't believe anything unless I can see it."  And my God, our experience that night when He responded and my roommate as a witness and participant, His existence was no longer a question. Cocky as I was, "where will I find my first teacher?  Australia was His booming answer." 

Karen then traveled around the world.  Ken McLean, Shin Tao Institute, Sydney, Australia taught Karen Aikido, Shiatsu and Oriental medicine and nutrition.  Within 2 years, Karen was healthier than she had ever been. 

Karen graduated with honors in Chinese medicinal training and as a Shiatsu practitioner.  She moved to Japan to complete her graduate studies.   Karen graduated as an Oriental Medical doctor, OMD. 

After almost a decade of studying Karen returned to Canada in 1988. The next day, she met a Haida shaman and her sister and they expanded Karen’s education into Native medicine.  Karen shared with them Chinese/Japanese Medical nutritional program for prostate cancer. Their father had been suffering with prostate cancer.  Their father recovered and thrived.  Karen was then invited to work in the Aihara Cancer clinic in Oroville, California.

Dr. Howard L. Jones, UBC Orthodontic surgery team member, Osteopathic doctor invited Karen to study under him and eventually instruct with him.  Cranial Sacral therapy (osteopathic medicine) is now one of the most sought after therapies. 

In tandem, Karen, established the Zen Shiatsu school through Terri Willard, Mountain College, Wild Rose supplements and herbs.  Karen formed a Shiatsu Board with the directors of the other Shiatsu school in Vancouver.   She edited and wrote the first standards for the Shiatsu society of British Columbia.

In 1995, Karen expanded her school to Whistler; she shared a physiotherapy clinic in village and was The preferred Ensuite services for elite clientele like Pan Pacific, Fairmont, Meridian Hotel, Mushroom Studios, Hotel Vancouver.   Karen had worked for these hotels for many years in Vancouver.  Her graduate students were always hired before graduation almost 90% by the Chateau Whistler.

In the late 90s, Karen thrived in a multi-discipline environment in various Integrative Health centers.  Karen is passionate about all people healing and a multi-discipline environment allows a successful holistic approach for each client. 
In 2008-2011, Karen studied and was certified under Dr. Masgutova.  Her book, Trauma Recovery,  won her the Who’s Who Scientist of the Year US award, 2010.  Dr.  Masgutova’s Genetic Reflex therapy is beneficial for people with disabilities-particularly cerebral palsy and autism.   Other conditions that have benefit are strokes, car accidents, trauma, spinal injuries and any Central Nervous system malfunction. www.masgutovamethod.com

Karen has now added a Chinese magnetic analyzer to her service offerings to give the client visual and comprehensive information about 36 systems of their bodies in 56 seconds including testing for Heavy Metals, Heart/Brain circulatory system, all organs and even their Endocrine system are shown.
